Bolonka Zwetna: Tips for acclimatizing and caring for your new puppy

Dear interested parties,

Buying a dog should be carefully considered. Dogs are small creatures that need love and attention and come with a great deal of responsibility. We look forward to hearing from interested parties who are aware of this responsibility.

Even though we get our puppies and dogs used to many things and socialize them as much as possible, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

Time: Give the little ones enough time to settle in. On average, puppies need up to 4 weeks to get used to their new home and their new people. Make sure the puppies have settled in before you invite other people and dogs to meet them.

Nutrition: A new environment can stress puppies. Therefore, avoid changing their food or giving them food that has not been recommended by the breeder during the first month. This can cause diarrhea and discomfort.

Retreats: If the puppy wants to retreat because it is overstimulated, please give it this space. Every puppy is different and reacts differently. Some seek closeness to their human, others prefer a quiet place.

If you are unsure how to react in different situations, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with advice and assistance to help you in the best possible way.
